Job Description: Cloud Solutions Architect (AWS + Kubernetes + DevOps)

Summary:

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect with deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and DevOps to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting cloud-native applications, optimizing cloud costs, and ensuring system reliability while collaborating with engineering teams to integrate DevOps best practices.

Compensation:

•Full-time (W2): $150K – $170K/year + benefits

•Contract: $110–$120/hour

Responsibilities:

•Design and implement cloud-native architectures on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and performance

•Develop and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, AKS) for container orchestration

•Define and implement DevOps strategies for CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions

•Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Datadog, Prometheus, and ELK Stack

•Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management

• Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies and security best practices

• Work closely with developers to enable serverless computing, microservices, and API gateways

• Provide guidance on cloud cost optimization and best practices

Qualifications:

•7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering

•Expert-level knowledge of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.)

• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)

• Familiarity with network security, firewalls, and IAM roles/policies

• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana)

•Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go

•AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) is a plus
