Job Description: DevOps Engineer (AWS + Kubernetes)

Summary:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to join our growing infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for our applications. This role requires deep knowledge of automation, cloud architecture, and DevOps best practices.
Compensation:
•Full-time (W2): $120K + benefits
•Contract: $85–$95/hour
Responsibilities:
•Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based cloud infrastructure
•Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE) for container orchestration
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
•Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
•Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
•Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments using Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
•Improve security practices, including IAM policies, firewalls, and encryption
•Work closely with developers to streamline deployment workflows
Qualifications:
•7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure management
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPCs, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and Helm
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Go)
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools like ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana
•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
•Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
