Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in and Azure environments, operations and automation.
• Must be strong with, Azure stacks and automation
- Very strong automation experience with Ansible
- Must have experience with RedHat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
- Must be strong with Enterprise 9.0 on and Azure
- Strong experience with load balancers, VPCs and network management
- Work in DevOps environment
Desired Skills & Experience - Experience working with ServiceNow is a big plus
- Ability to identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on or Azure with Enterprise RedHat 9.0 operating system
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform implementation and integration with existing infrastructure and systems.
Sr. DevOps Engineer and Sr. Solutions Engineer will setup and configure highly available Ansible Automation Platform 2.1, LDAP integration, RBAC setup and Git Workflow implementation. Additional use cases implementation (ServiceNow integration, and Azure workload provisioning) activities details scope for this project as described below.
Planning
Sr. DevOps Engineer will perform below activities planning phase:
- Identify existing setup of Virtual/Physical infrastructure for Ansible Automation Platform
- Provide compute, memory, and storage requirements for Ansible Automation Platform nodes
- Provide network requirements for Ansible Automation Platform setup
- Identify existing Operating systems and endpoint devices
- Identify Inventory source, existing SCM and CMDB systems
- Discuss planned use cases details for this project and next steps
Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Installation
Sr. DevOps Engineer will perform below activities during this phase:
- Setup Linux ( 8.4) instance for Ansible Automation Platform 2.1 Installation
o 2 x Ansible servers
o 2 x DB servers (PostgreSQL)
o 1 x Private Automation Hub server
- Install and configure Ansible Automation Platform 2.1 and Database
- Install and configure Private Automation Hub
Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Configuration
Sr. DevOps Engineer will perform below configuration activities for this phase:
- Configure LDAP integration with AAP
- Setup required credentials, inventories, projects & job templates (Note:Credentials setup will require access/info related to ServiceNow, and Azure environment for mentioned use cases below)
- Setup RBAC using Active Directory Orgs and Teams
- Setup Source Control Repository or integrate existing Repository for Ansible Playbooks
- Integrate with existing logging systems for log aggregation
- Setup default notification options regarding job success and failure
ServiceNow Integration:
Sr. Solutions engineer will perform below activities during this phase:
- Automating ServiceNow Task
o ServiceNow ITSM – Automatic incident/problem/change request management
- Automating Provisioning & Patching Task
o VM Provisioning (Installation, Creation, Configuration & Additional Software Packages installation)
o VM Patching
o Update CI request and CMDB
o VM Decommission
- Query CMDB to update inventory dynamically
- Multi Cloud Deployment
- Help ServiceNow team to develop Service Catalog if required
