Position Overview:
The Senior Program Manager - Strategic Accounts plays a pivotal role in overseeing our major customer accounts. This position requires a seasoned professional with strong program management expertise, strategic acumen, and exceptional communication skills. The Senior Program Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, customer success, and product development, to drive the successful implementation and expansion of our solutions within key customer accounts. Additionally, the Senior Program Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with vendors, third parties, and partners involved in customer projects, serving as the primary liaison between all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at assigned customer accounts.
- Collaborate with internal sales and customer success teams to understand customer needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Lead strategic discussions with customers to identify expansion opportunities and develop tailored solutions to meet their evolving requirements.
- Work closely with customers to develop and execute rollout and expansion plans for solutions.
- Proactively identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Program Management:
- Oversee multiple projects within assigned customer accounts, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and strategic goals.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify dependencies, and address any issues or roadblocks that may arise.
- Regularly communicate project status, milestones, and risks to internal and external stakeholders.
- Vendor and Partner Management:
- Manage relationships with vendors, third parties, and partners involved in customer projects.
- Define project requirements and deliverables for vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and standards.
- Monitor vendor performance and adherence to contractual agreements, and address any issues or concerns as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for vendor-related issues, facilitating resolution and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in a technology or software industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex customer accounts and projects.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate customer needs and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing relationships with vendors, third parties, and partners, with a focus on driving collaboration and achieving shared objectives.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
