Senior Backend Engineer (EU/UK-Based, Node.Js & AWS)

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help build scalable and efficient backend systems in a cloud-native environment. If you have strong expertise in Node.js and AWS, this is the role for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Design and develop backend services using Node.js, ensuring scalability and high performance.

•Architect and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB).

•Create and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

•Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring.

•Optimize database performance (both SQL and NoSQL technologies).

•Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration across the stack.

•Implement security best practices to safeguard systems and sensitive data.

REQUIREMENTS:

•5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer, with strong expertise in Node.js.

•Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, DynamoDB).

•Experience in designing RESTful APIs and working with microservices.

•Proficient with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

•Strong understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).

•Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).

•Fluent in English, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
