SENIOR TECH PROJECT MANAGER (EU-BASED)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead and drive complex software development and cloud-based projects. If you are highly organized, technically savvy, and thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment, this role is for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage end-to-end software development & cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, product owners, and stakeholders, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

•Develop and maintain detailed project roadmaps, sprint plans, and risk assessments.

•Implement Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies, leading sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

•Track project performance using Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar tools, ensuring progress aligns with business objectives.

• Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks.

•Ensure alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and expectation management.

•Drive continuous improvement by analyzing workflows, optimizing processes, and implementing best practices.

•Manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations efficiently.

•Coordinate with EU-based clients and teams, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

•5+ years of experience in technical project management within software development or cloud-based environments.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle).

•Experience managing distributed remote teams across multiple time zones.

•Hands-on experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp, etc.).

•Strong technical background with knowledge of AWS, DevOps, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (not hands-on, but strong enough to liaise with engineers).

•Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines.

•Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

•Solid understanding of GDPR, data privacy, and compliance in EU projects.

•Exceptional problem-solving and risk management abilities.

•Fluent in English (written & spoken); additional EU languages are a plus.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or SAFe Agile.

• Experience working in FinTech, SaaS, AI, or cybersecurity domains.

• Familiarity with multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud project management.
